Personally I like their existance, but have no interest in owning one myself. As for other Purists, I'd bet that the majority do not favour such watches, but I'd also bet that most wouldn't turn their nose up at a Seiko Spring Drive.

Finally.... the car industry is starting to learn from the watch industry. How do you reduce the costs, make more reliable, give greater autonomy to a watch? Make it electric, less parts, smaller, simpler production. Look at the difference in production c...
