Watch shows don't always let much time to have an extensive look an all things exposed and I saw a watch at Baselworld 2010 that let me a deep impression even if I had seen it only a few seconds, but some regrets not having seen it more. So I was very ple...
and the unique display is appealing too. It would be a great addition to someone like Graham or myself with wacky watches (regulators, one-handers, backwards dials, etc) but I don't know if it would catch on in general Perhaps with watches, like the qwert...
my only concern is that the crown looks a bit big to me but the concept, great! Is it possible to buy it yet? I see no dealers or prices on the website. Thanks for the review! Best Andreas
To make understand how the time display works, I shot it at Basel: I have followed Benoît since the first release of the watch. I really like it a lot and was really impressed by the improvements brought in the last version when compared with the previous...
I just opened a holiday card and small present from the US distributor of Ressence and checked out the same watch and similarly intrigued by it (I just bought a pair of Tourbillon Cufflinks while ago). Thanks for the report. This is indeed an interesting ...
My AD in Brussels sells these watches, it's Degreef http://www.degreef1848.be/pages/1_3-Homepage.html I don't want too make too much publicity but I wouldn't recommend any other AD ;-)
It's got a unique time display, which is one of the features I adore in a watch. Also, I think the use of the tried and true ETA 2824 is smart. Like you wrote, nobody will see the movement and it will easily be serviced years from now. This mitigates much...
alas it is much more expensive than the Sony of four years ago! How many still have that watch? I don't. Cazalea ( still have this glass though, and the MIH )...
Hi All, I've been intrigued by the Ressence for a while now. I've got their iPhone app and all. Super cool to watch this watch. I must admit that I'm not in love with the shape of the crown, but I think I understand its purpose. What's primarily holding m...
i still have mine although i dont wear it very often. i've kept mine on the black steel mesh bracelet i put on it fairly early on. best for 2012 Graham
but Jerome, it is also 20 x the price of the Seiko which makes a huge difference. it doesnt affect how much i like it, but it affects my purchasing ability. best G
The Ressence is indeed an amazing watch with incredible looks. There also is a titanium version, which is really cool IMHO. Love the details of the watch. GEO...
Cooler than cool. I felt in love the first time I saw it, and the feeling keeps growing on me. A very special timepiece I would love to see on my wrist. Thanks for posting. Vte
thank you Dje for the report...I didn t know this watch, what a brilliant idea, very playful but not too "silly"if you pass me the term,,,,quite cool actually. Any idea on the RRP? Mo
i cant remember when, but big daddy told me about this watch some months ago after he saw it on a blog. i love the whole thing. nice size, but not too big, understated yet clever in its display, bomb proof movement that anyone can work on and several diff...
I see a screw in the middle a bit like the B&R "Do Not Remove" screw and in some shots I saw Torx or star-head screws going into beveled depressions in the back of the case. Can anyone explain if this was prototype or production? Most of the images appear...
Before the saphire was screwed: now it is put on a sort of frame. Two reasons: to improve the waterproof quality to improve the production process The saphire part was quite often damaged before when it was screwed. Fx This message has been edited by Dje ...
