I'm not considering myself as a "new collector" but I see your point. I actually bought all my Rolexes years ago, before all the waitlist, premium, investment BS. Bought them at the AD with little to no waiting time and a decent discount. Both the Submariner and the Explorer are probably the "best" watches in my collection but I have to admit that they don't excite me much. The Reverso and the Shadow are the favorite watches in my collection and are getting my most wrist time of the lot.

Much better than Rolex-only collection from "new collector" these days, which really boring (sorry no offense to anybody). Particularly i like your Patek, zenith shadow, Universal Geneve, and of course, that gorgeous blue Reverso.

Rolex makes great, robust and accurate watches.
There is no denying about that. I have an explorer and datejust. But their glacier evolution of styling and similar case between models are nothing excited in terms of design. Oyster perpetual is a date-less and cyclop-less datejust with brushed lugs and ...
What a collection
and on top of that really nice pictures. You are for sure in a different league versus myself - however we have at least one similarity. I began my watch journey with a Rado as well. By the way warm welcome to WPS!
