I hear what you say, but posting on the relative forum allows the problems to be lost as new posts quickly push older posts back
It would be nice if buying an Xyz Brand to be able see the makers track record in both service and problems associated with a particular model.
Would certainly see the makers improving their service etc.

I strongly agree, quality is somewhat hard to come by, especially these days when the economy is tanked. High end manufacturers are cutting back and streamlining. Imagine during the good times when they are already screwing up with mediocre and unreliable...
