But could it perhaps be a separate thread - this discussion of the saleability (or not) of minor brands? Of course it applies to watches, cars, boats and many other things. And if no one buys NEW, no one can ever buy USED. Nor will the new, small, creative companies ever stay in business.
Because it is an entire class of possessions you describe, not just AS watches. I now own a dozen watches in this category, and probably will continue to own them forever.
I would like to introduce the other watches of the relatively-unknown Armin Strom product line to let readers judge the appeal and attraction for themselves.
It seems like rather than allowing me to put them out on a level surface for inspection / comparison that you have tipped my table over before I can finish the display.
Not all of us are buying and reselling. Some just buy to keep; others buy for aesthetics only.
What do you think?
