Horological Meandering

The good things...

The good things about the Longines 13ZN is that it is an affordable watch with a very nice movement and that it is relatively easy to find.

But at 35mm, the watch is not very wearable nowadays. And it's design looks a bit antiquated, at least in my opinion.
The Fliegerchronograph from Tutima-Glashütte has an understated tool-watch movement but it is a real classic that will never go out of fashion, because of its purposeful simplicity. It is a sports watch par excellence, and the 39mm case is just a perfect classic size. The negative point is that it is hard to find nowadays in original condition.
Two very interesting and different pieces.
Best regards,
Frank
