Its 'spirit' somehow reminds me of your Air King, even though they have little in common.

but the AK did come to mind. I think our eyes are often drawn to similar pieces -- the classic and understated, but also those with an element of lightheartedness and fun,.

Very nice dial in particular.

Lapine has a few of these no doubt.
