I don't think it is that easy. This is not a black and white issue but rather one of human response. One does not call a mothers baby ugly (even if it is!) simply because it is not tactful and serves no real value. It is a battle that cannot be won. I would submit that the result of these petty posts is a lack of tact. In person, virtually none of us would tell a person his watch is ugly, we know better. Such a statement can only end badly. This veil of anonymity the internet provides seems to make people forget (or ignore) common sensible reasoning. Guys, don't call the woman's baby ugly. It will just get you beat up by the father.
