You probably know my passion for astronomic watches, a theme which is absolutely not new, as it has already been made by some brands, since the 90's and the early 2000's. Have a look at Ulysse Nardin, with the Trilogy, Patek, with the Celestial, or Jaeger...

Unfortunately the size would probably prevent a decent fit on my wrist. I agree with your assessment that the watch has a lot of interesting components but that maybe not all were necessary to a coherent whole 😊👍🏻

I may be a bit too conservative, old-fashioned, or even pedantic. But I think an "astronomical watch" should use its technology to reflect at least a glimpse of the dynamics that are subject of astronomical observation. A moon phase display, for example, ...

When I first saw your photos I was in awe. It looks spectacular and I was instantly depressed I would never be able to own one since it certainly would have to be far beyond my watch budget.
I've always wanted an astronomical watch, ever since seeing UN ads back in the '90s. But these complications have always been far beyond my budget. Then, after realizing the astrological "complication" is simply a design element...very disappointing indee...
