But where is the astronomy?

I may be a bit too conservative, old-fashioned, or even pedantic. But I think an "astronomical watch" should use its technology to reflect at least a glimpse of the dynamics that are subject of astronomical observation. A moon phase display, for example, which I consider to be the least one could expect from an astronomical display. I won't dare to talk about an accurate reproduction of the sky with stellar constellations at the current time. Or a correct depiction of planetary positions in the solar system. This "Starman" watch, however, has absolutely nothing of that kind, it is a nice tourbillon watch with a meteorite dial, not more.

I have to concede to the manufacturer, though, an impressive display of self-confidence when claiming: "March 21, 2013, when the world of watchmaking was stunned by an amazing revelation: Louis Moinet was the inventor of the chronograph" being the base of the planetary pattern on the watch's back. Personally, I doubt the world of watchmaking was really stunned. I, as a watch collector part of that world, surely wasn't.
