Back to the city tonight but enjoying the environs today with my Grönefeld 1941 Remontoire: it’s a beautiful watch and the “One, Two, Three, Four, Five, Six, Seven, WHEEEEEEEE!” of the governor at 9 is a childlike joy every 8 seconds…..
And, as always, the movement finishing is STUNNING - especially since they chose to do it in steel (meaning they had to spend 200+ hours per watch on finishing alone….)
