A unique timepiece worth an excellent review
There's nothing that excites me more about the world of watchmaking than when an outside independent talented person arrives to show his own mastery and skills from a clean slate. It is a challenge to the established houses and independent colleagues alike.
Don's timepiece is every bit thought out down to the last detail. The fact that the reviewer found room for improvements is only testimony that the timepiece is so worthy of upgrading if need be. This is a masterpiece which deserved a painstaking and positively critical review from top to bottom.
Moreover, Don's creation reflects on his incredible push in such short time to present his very own ideas and bring them to reality.
The past decade IMHO has surpassed the last 100 years and more in the world of horology in terms of original creativity of design and innovations. These are indeed exciting times to be in for watch lovers, collectors, and others who appreciate bold contributions especially coming from small independents.
