You are getting me a bit excited with ideas, even though I am a chronograph and sports watch guy. I love a fine handmade watch. I have to look at Rolex again to cleanse myself of handmade watches...hehe.
Agree, service is an issue with all these small volume independents. Actually, it is a not-for-profit business idea of mine about finding good watchmakers. There are many out there, at least here in the US, but you have to do homework to find them.

but I cannot imagine Rexhap making too many of them. Still, the Remontoire is a compelling choice. I cannot say no to it and my love affair with this watch has been going on for over a year and a half now.
