Thanks for shedding light on this lovely painting technique. The artist really shows extreme skill and dexterity. I love that you chose to showcase a series of "time lapse" photos, so we could easily see how the painted dial came together. Stunning craftsmanship on display!

I presume everything is painted from the underside of the dial Meaning that we are looking through the glass to get to the image, and not looking at the image on top of glass. I suppose this was meant to be presumed when the title says "reverse painting."...
