The MAD one was designed to be a lottery from the very beginning. Everyone who applied for it knew, what they were in for. The Grönograaf preordering process didn‘t mention anything like this at any time until we received the email almost a week after signing up. This wasn‘t a „we want to be fair to all people“ process. It was more of a „shit, our preorder process isn‘t working! We‘re getting too much orders! We need to do something! Quick let‘s do a brainstorming!“ process. There‘s a huge difference between these two from the customers perspective. I would agree with you, if it would‘ve been known to be a lottery from the very beginning, I do not agree with you under the given circumstances. Also, VIPs did get special information about the new watches upfront the release. This does not go well with the „equality to all customers“ approach.
