I can certainly vouch for Peter and Daniela!
They are both delightful people, and my wife Lorrie and I are honored to be considered as their friends. They went out of their way to host us on our recent visit to Switzerland, took us an hour's drive away for fondue, etc., etc. -- truly gracious people. And, of course, I love his work! Very distinctive in style and with a clear concept that reflects its maker -- solid, enduring, serviceable.

i must admit i spent 10 minutes talking to 'this bloke' at the back of the room, noticed his PSM watch, commented on it, asked if it was his and the reply was 'err yeah, i'm Peter, i made it', luckily there was a very big hole to swallow me up i didnt get...
Graham, I agree both British Watchmakers are down to earth.
My comment is based on my personal encounter with them a few years ago. Hopefully, they haven't changed. I believe not all independent watchmakers are humble, expecially after they have been successful and gained "recognition" . Regards Ling

I ordered (or tried to order) watches from these guys: van der Klaauw, Voutilainen, Peter, Smith, Calabrese, and Pita and they are all very very humble and approach-able. The only person that is eccentric is Mr. Kiu Tai Yu, not that he is bad, just eccent...
