Independents

we were truly honoured by their attendance.

i must admit i spent 10 minutes talking to 'this bloke' at the back of the room, noticed his PSM watch, commented on it, asked if it was his and the reply was 'err yeah, i'm Peter, i made it', luckily there was a very big hole to swallow me up smile

i didnt get a lot of a chance to talk to Roger, but spoke to Peter and Daniela at some length only to find out that Peter is technically Welsh and his parents live not a stones throw from me. they were en route to spend a short time with his parents which as it turned out was very lucky, mainly for Daniela.

after everyone had departed the hotel bar which we vacated too after the meal at Scotts we found a goodie bag with a very important book inside it. i made many abortive attempts to contact Peter while he was still in London, my wife finally used directory enquiries and located his mother. messages passed etc. i dont know whats in the book, but it must be important as i'm getting the chance to have Peter in my home probably tomorrow to collect it.

that does go to show that although we pay homage to the english masters, their skill, their artistry, their strong ethics and dedication to customer satisfaction, when all that is put aside they are very down to earth human beings.

can we say that of all independents?

best

Graham
