I know this is not the answer you’re expecting

But you clearly do know both watches and makers have their merits. And while you pit one against the other, you’re gonna find it hard to determine a winner. Because the reality is that, they both are.

Truth be told, I own a Kari Voutilainen. And I will put my money on a Rexhepi too. However, I will go about making my decisions basis the following: 1) relative value. am I getting all there is for what I pay or is there a better buy out there 2) ask yourself the question why you like it. Plain and simple 3) how does this fit into your collection 4) do you foresee yourself wearing it 10, 20 or even 30 years down the road.

A watch is a personal object. So while the likes of us purists, watch journalists, dealers etc may wax lyrical about the merits of either one of them, you gotta make that choice on your own.

Good luck. And just so you know, I’m in the same boat as you deciding whether I should pull the trigger on something or not smile
