Hi, In the process of getting the Lang and Heyne Georg. Any owners in the forum? I would like to get your feedback? Or what is your opinion regarding the brand? My only concern is longevity. My only independent as of the moment is an fpjourne and i truly ...  

I’m not currently an owner but have handled and discussed several Lang and Heyne watches. The quality is excellent in my opinion and relatively under the radar as a manufacturer. Good luck with your journey. Best regards Captain

These are watch movements made like they do already 200 years. So I guess a good watchmaker can service your watch of necessary. And even can make or reproduce some parts if they would need to be replaced. On the other hand…. I have the same doubts when b... 

This is EXACTLY my opinion. Apart from very specific models or Indies the big majority are making their caliber in the traditional way with an amazing finishing. So service and maintenance should not be a problem with a qualified watchmaker.

It may be a process to find the right watchmaker to service them but certainly not impossible. Vintage watches have similar issues. Sometimes a part needs to me made from scratch.

Do you think if one of those bridges in the georg line can be replaced by a good watchmaker. It is so polished so well. Francis

with black round dial/white second's dial. I love the watch. I would tell you to get a white enamel dial over the black dial.

Is what i am going for. I am hoping my customization will be approved. I am not going with trends, it has always been my personal color.

So clean. The only negative thing I've heard said about it is the triple lugs, which to me is nothing.

I hope the rectangle shape will fit my wrist, but i really love everything about the georg.

I got the George when it first came out. That was when Marco was still at the company. I have not had any issues with it and would not hesitate to recommend it to someone as long as you know that repairs could become an issue at some point. But, like othe...

I think you will have many more chances to get one 😀. And maybe they will be coming out with more complications. I am in love with the georg because of the movement.

Like others said: repair, decoration is always feasible by others too. This watch is asking for a lot of money and if you can spend it, than there are no worries. Get it, it is an outstanding watch!

It will be better finished than your FPJ for example. I have the Friedrich III and had the georg which I sold to fund a grail piece otherwise it would still be mine. The Friedrich III I will never sell. It’s spectacular and special in every way. I doubt t...

The freidrich pops with the orange strap! Agree with the finishing, i believe they are one of the best.

I would also get the rose gold hands. Just flows better to me.
