Andersen is such an underrated brand or should I say person.
It’s just amazing what he made in his 45 years independent watchmaking
He was not known for top finishing but back in the days that was not a must do.
If he would have started 10 years ago and not 45 years ago he would be super popular but unfortunately for him he started when nobody was paying attention to independents
But it seems more and more collectors are finally discovering his watches.

I tend to think it's fortunate that he had the career he did,
away from the frenzy that now surrounds independent watchmakers. In the long term, his me value will undoubtedly be more widely recognized, and it already is by all those who do not need the limelight. Best, Emmanuel

One thing I wonder about this PC and some other older ones I’ve seen is how the leap year is determined. Is there an indicator on the back? If not do you just set it until you know? Thanks for showing this.
I’m not sure about this particular piece,
but I think that before a leap year indicator was introduced, you had to have your watch correctly set by a watchmaker. Best, Emmanuel
