Numbers part 2
Being from HK and Asia, I tried to choose a bunch of numbers with 8 in it. so naturally I tried numbers such as 80, 88, 82, 83, 86 etc etc but these were taken as was 68, 78 etc. Eventually I plumped for 98 I think.
I think that the estimate of 50 watches ordered might be low. Its probably a little higher given the number of serial numbers I tried and failed to get above 50! Of course that,s not to say that there isn't an equal number below 50 that wasn't taken.
In the end I don't care. I would be extremely happy the day my watch is delivered. I have never heard of a watchmaker (can you call him that yet?!?!?!!) that obsessed so much over the details of a watch..... to care so much that every single part where possible is made by him by hand. He has put in so many hours to perfect, in his eyes, the process of creating this and at the same time using it as essentially a learning experience.
