Ochs
In answer to Ancienne... Yes, my ochs is worn daily - I don't really want watches for collecting but for wearing and using... Says the man who does now need to sell some 'spare' Venturas which i couldn't resist, oops.
The plan is/was to wear my Ventura V-matic on my 4 weeks at home, then switch to the ochs for the 4 week hitch - the day dots help me keep track of what day it is, working 12 hour night shifts 7 days a week. At least, that was my feeble justification for purchasing it, hoho.
As it turns out, when i got home this time and received the Venturas back from a service... It wasn't easy to take the ochs off the wrist - i'm with an old friend in Chicago for some extra local skiing and found myself putting the ochs back on.
Talking of silver - on their website the latest 'blog' entry is about a version with the case, dial, hands, gears ALL made of sterling silver - the dial is patinated to a dark finish for contrast
