That said, the G Wagon market seems to be like the watch market these days. It always held decent value I think but it seems even more so these days.
This Tantalum isn’t $150k, but instead listed at a much more affordable 😳 $88k.
But it is a beautifully constructed piece.
Brushed tantalum looks amazing!
Wonder why titanium is engraved on the case back? Could it be to give the CNC machine a rest?
Misleading, the entire case is not Tantalum.
As you correctly saw, eagle eyes for sure, it’s a Tantalum Titanium combination. I’m sure the CNC machines were happy about that !

Well, no.
Journe’s is his cheapest mechanical watch !! But that is the exception. I will add that the PAM 172 was $15k or so in 2005 or thereabouts. The same watch, in steel or titanium was 1/3 of the price (retail prices).
I’ve not seen that quoted anywhere. But note the case is Tantalum and Titanium.
So it’s not a complete brick !

But with only 12 of them we’ll likely want to see them in the ADs before they disappear into collections.
I still like the 105 Kryptonite one a lot though.
The all black Kryptonite version is a great piece in my eyes.

Anything in tantalum is just better! You could have the worst watch in the world and put it in tantalum and it would be that much better!
I think this one is THE 105 to own.
