The resemblance with the UN is merely in dial color and hour indicators. But movement etc are completely different.
What I like in the Gronefeld is the fact their dial is clean crisp and balanced Hulst the UN dial is but too busy
The date indicator on the UN for instance doesn’t seem to be in balance and I would prefer it without a date indicator.
Nothing against UN but doesn’t come close to Gronefeld

I used to have the same model UN - it’s a great watch but the day really annoyed me! Having said that - the UN Marine is a fantastic watch! I kind of miss mine! Happy new year

UN have some nice watches in their collection although I personally prefer their more outlandish design like the Freak collection

Yes it’s definitely a watch which vies for your wrist time every day. IMHO it might be the perfect daily dress/casual watch. I am sure you are enjoying yours tremendously too!

2019 was definitely a great year for me
even though I have to sell one of my favourite piece to fund something. I added three pieces to my collection which I absolutely love, two of which are indies
