My last post of 2019 with my first watch of 2019, the Gronefeld 1941 Principia. This is the watch that kickstarted 2019 for me. It is my first independent piece and one of my biggest purchase in this hobby. I am glad that the love for it is still as stron...

I used to have the same model UN - it’s a great watch but the day really annoyed me! Having said that - the UN Marine is a fantastic watch! I kind of miss mine! Happy new year

UN have some nice watches in their collection although I personally prefer their more outlandish design like the Freak collection

Great to see a watch made in the village where I used to live, has been the opening and closing of 2019 for you The resemblance with the UN is merely in dial color and hour indicators. But movement etc are completely different. What I like in the Gronefel...

Yes it’s definitely a watch which vies for your wrist time every day. IMHO it might be the perfect daily dress/casual watch. I am sure you are enjoying yours tremendously too!
