Thank you very much Rob!

Your analysis makes a lot of sense and with the current two year waiting list for a Chronometre Bleu, it will definitely hold its value better. But I am curious if I may ask - if it is such a good watch, why did you sell yours? It seems one or two others have done the same. Is the watch not a keeper? I ask because if possible now that I have retired, I would only like to buy watches that I shall possibly keep. I can't wear a Richard Lange due to small wrist and I do like the Pour Le Merite in rose gold but it is 2mm too large for me! Notice that I have shortlisted two watches that are 39mm in diameter with shortish curved lugs. Unfortunately the Laurent Ferrier at 40mm is also slightly too large and when speaking to them, they were quite happy to make me a 39mm watch. But yes, I would prefer a manual winding watch even though the Laurent Ferrier is beautifully finished. And you are right the Chronometre Bleu can be worn on most occasions whereas the Eichi II seems more dressy.
