There is an interview with him on Time Zone but I can't post a link so go onto the site and in the heading look for news and features. Under that, is interviews and scroll down to Richard Paige. He was/is a watchmaker currently in Hawaii I believe making his own watches. You can google him.
In the interview he ran a store in San Francisco that specialized in watch brands he found interesting and Dubey and Schaldenbrand was one of them.
I'm guessing when he bought TimeZone he had them make a special watch for the website.
Just guessing here. But like I said you should be able to contact him and find out.
Good luck in your search. I've owned a number of D&S watches and loved their design and their interesting history after the quartz crisis in Swiss watchmaking.

Richard is alive and well living between Hawaii & San Diego.
