I've been thinking of adding a Georg for a long time, and I feel like I have the super modern end of the collection covered, so a dressy piece is on the table. My other options are something complicated from Patek, or maybe a Moritz Grossman. But I am not...  

I tried it on a few years ago because i love the movement layout and finishing in the georg….but it looked very large on my skinny 6.25” wrists. Additionally, i wasn’t a big fan of the triple lugs. It makes the watch case more pronounced and draws attenti... 

I didn't like the triple lugs on the round Lang & Heyne watches I tried, but for some reason they look ok on the Georg to me, but I haven't seen one in-person. The sizing comment is a little concerning. My wrist is about 6.5 or so. So pretty avg... does e... 

Maybe it is true…. But german watches tend to be a bit on the larger side. I was quite happy when moritz grossman started their 37mm line.

But also agree to the triple lugs and would add the crown protection, which seems not aesthetically correct…

I wonder if the dimensions are close to an Apple Watch in terms of length and width.

Mine was made to order in standard spec as I wanted it in RG with matching gold lancet hands. The one I saw at the AD was a WG with blue hands. I was only considering to add a cabochon to the crown which did not happen in the end due to the cost. I could ...  

Thanks. Your pieces look great. If it does wear closer to a 44mm Panerai it might be a no-go for me. I love my Panerai but don't like wearing it more than 4 - 6 hours because I find it gets kinda uncomfortable after that.

I am in NY again in Sept and hoping Cellini has one in stock I can check out.

I’ve never tried it on but this is clearly NOT a thin, elegant (and bit boring) watch like a Calatrava or JLC extra flat. The Georg plays in another league, as I wrote yesterday in another thread the bridges are THE benchmark. ...  

I actually love the case design and dial side too though. Especially if it's customizable to be closer to what is in the OP.

and that's the only thing I'm not so sure of when it comes to this watch. It's gorgeous and the finishing is impeccable. But as said ... rectangular is something I don't like very much. I like my Parmigiani Ionica and Chronoswiss Digiteur but always someh... 

Otherwise, these are incredible watches and I have been to their shop in the city centre of Dresden.

It’s slightly too long for my wrist. But I could find an excuse to ignore it!😆 I love the curvature of the case and the fine detailing on the sides! Absolutely gorgeous layout of the movement.🤌 As others have stated, it’s a little thick for a dress piece....
