The Georg was my first L&H....
Mine was made to order in standard spec as I wanted it in RG with matching gold lancet hands. The one I saw at the AD was a WG with blue hands.
I was only considering to add a cabochon to the crown which did not happen in the end due to the cost. I could have also ordered it in double instead of triple lugs but I decided not to as the triple lug design is part of original design elements of L&H. Along the way, L&H came up with special editions with different dials and your pix shown has a custom dial (Korean jade with 2 sub-dials) for a group of Korean collectors. You can also ask for personalized engravings (I did not, just to keep it simple), tweaks to the strap such as color and stitching can be accommodated too.
I do not think the departure of the founders resulted in any quality concerns. The team is accessible and responsive, they helped me out more than the local AD in resolving issues with my subsequent MTO Friedrich III. L&H remains focus, if you noticed, it did not ramp up its capacity just becos demand has gone up. According to the CEO when he was in town for a "road show" late 2024, L&H is still making 2-300 watches a year, Even that, the backlog remains.
The watch sits well on my wrist with the case curvature. The closest in my collection I could compare with is a 44mm Panerai luminor (rather than a 42mm Speedy).

Friedrich III

Not forgetting the Hektor I
