You mention, several times, that your big concern is value retention and prices on C24. If you are truly buying it for you, secondary prices shouldn't be your #1 concern. You didn't ask about long term serviceability, wearability or any other aspect of the watch related to actualing owning and wearing it. Just secondary price.
You can not appreciate my comments all day long, but that reflects your feelings about yourself, not me or mine - the only reason you'd take offense is if you felt that being a flipper was a bad thing and if you felt there was some truth to my comment. After all, if being a flipper isn't a bad thing, and if you aren't one, then my comments should have no impact on you. My comments aren't meant to be insulting or hurtful, but knowing your true motivation for the watch helps me, and the community, give you honest feedback and help, which is why you asking the question in the first place, right?

I have a difficult time switching to my few watches with unusual time display - you have lots of watches like I do, so where them each only occasionally -- I would think you would have the same confusion.

The time is very simple you read it at 6 o’clock both hours and minutes the rest of the dial is dedicated to the chronograph… Jim

If so, you really should follow through: A deal is a deal, especially once money has changed hands. The company held this watch for you specifically and potentially turned away other customers who wanted one because of your commitment. UNLESS the deposit ...

What I read was that you had "mixed emotions on following through".
If it were me personally I would buy the watch as I had committed to it and had put a deposit down. Many manufacturers may not need deposits as they know the watch will move quickly if you pass on it (so that is a different story). Esthetics on this watch...

I don't think is fair that the client has to buy a watch if he doesn't like it anymore or, like in this case, if is a pretty terrible investment

Sounds like you may be committed. If you are a follower of this brand and you walk, you may not have the opportunity to get future LE pieces. If they are just coming out you may be able to unload and minimize the hit. My 2 cents. Beautiful movement !

I would pass on the opportunity on any brand that forces me to buy a watch. In this case

Totally subjective view but I do not see any Singer watch as collectible (insofar as value retention is an aspect of collectibility).
Is the watch interesting? Yes, I think so. I actually like the dial and emphasis on the chronograph. And of course the movement is widely recognized, so no questioning that aspect really. But I don’t see collectors climbing all over each other to get this...
