Yes, I got bored of the big manufactures.
Too derivative for me.
With some notable exceptions, the clock stopped 20-30 years ago on innovation but not the desire for inflationary pricing.
I’m supporting independents and enjoying their work more these days.
That really is a stunning looking Armin Strom Mirrored Force Resonance.
The shade of green of the dial is really nice as is the texture of it and I really like the way they have positioned the two sub dial counters. But I am a little confused are they both second counters or is one a minute counter? Marc
They are both seconds hands.
Each one is tied to one of the two regulating organs. The push button on the top right syncs the the seconds hands and the resonance mechanism then keeps both regulating organs and seconds hands in sync. The 2 second hands remaining in sync over time is “...
I’ve gone about a week with the seconds hands in sync.
Haven’t tested longer, so don’t know what the drift could be over time.
