I have a pair of these out of fristration one was modufied to take spring bars for 18mm strap. I have tried bying similar porsche family watches as strap donors only to learn that they fo not fit. Original strap was some type of plastic strap which are to...  

I know this is likely the best place to get some useful tips, but sending an email may be worth the time. Does the bracelet fif for your watch?

I can't think of anyone else with enough experience with this.

If anyone / brand is doing it today they are very shortsighted. Bill

get the connectors, cut off the old strap, see if you can attach spring bars to that and wind a NATO strap through there. Maybe you don't have to essentially destroy the case to wear it. If no such easy thing exists, but you have an old connector, let me ... 

I have tried to find anything in any condition. No such luck.

It was hit or miss but a one off custom CNC strap could be super expensive. I guess maybe we could machine the nato strap.

There are two possibilities: 1) IWC gives you a CAD drawing of the connector. It's a possibility, given your difficulty in finding an existing strap. You could always ask. 2) do the reverse: take the watch to an engineering company and let them reverse en... 

Maybe spend $500-1000 but beyond that it is not really worth it.
