There are two possibilities:

1) IWC gives you a CAD drawing of the connector. It's a possibility, given your difficulty in finding an existing strap. You could always ask. 

2) do the reverse: take the watch to an engineering company and let them reverse engineer the connector based on the case.  If you live near DC, I can take a look at it and figure it out. After that, they test a prototype or two with a 3D printer and boom, done.

Of course, manufacturing such a one off design would be expensive and time consuming, but it would preserve the case.  It all depends on what you value more (and there's no right or wrong answer to that!)
