Had been lusting after a ceramic/black watch and after this was released was concerned about the 44mm size. The Top Gun Chronograph at 44.5mm wore larger since more dial space, so that ruled out the SFTI version too. I’d been happy with my 3717 Pilot Chro...  

According to their website the alloy blackens and becomes ‘ceramicised’. The name is just a combination of the two. IWC reckon this is as scratch proof as ZrO2 ceramic but not as brittle-we shall see. 8 year IWC warranty now! Thanks for looking, Nico😎 Dav...

Worn extensively with NO wear marks visible to the naked eye.

I’ve got a fabric/leather strap on order too and will be interested to see how these lugs cope with changes. Think there’s another member with a 3705 Reissue with a marked lug....
