It's sad that the 1st gen doesn't sound as good,
because I like every detail better: font of the brand name, small seconds at 9 and the architecture of the movement. Best, Emmanuel

I would just add that I also prefer the dot minute track on the first generation rather than the new one… but as for the metal in white or rose gold both look equally nice imho…
I prefer the design of the original front and back.
However, clearly, for MR the quality of sound is paramount and original was so so from that point.
Sadly, I have no experience on hearing the MR.....
However, based on appearance, I so much prefer the new design, especially in R/G.
