you may have lurked here for some time or be a long time poster on another forum, but a first time post on purists always gets a welcome.
i'm with Andy on this one. 5 pics of the Omega says it all. i'm also a life long Omega fan so very biased. on top of that Watchtime gave it 91 points in its review which i understand is very difficult to get, especially at that price point.
the speedmaster is a beautifully balanced chronograph with a great movement. Omega are solidly putting themselves back in the game after quite a few years in the wilderness. a purist friend of mine has read the review in Watchtime, tried one on in a boutique and is now searching for the best price. he's not an easy man to please and is blown away by its quality.
i think you know which one you like most so i look forward to the follow on post in the Omega forum

I have to admit..I admire your watch selection process.. I, on the other hand, suffer from "flipper-itis" where I don't appreciate the selectino process and often find myself making mistakes (and paying dearly for them) Congrats!
