you may have lurked here for some time or be a long time poster on another forum, but a first time post on purists always gets a welcome. i'm with Andy on this one. 5 pics of the Omega says it all. i'm also a life long Omega fan so very biased. on top of ...

I have to admit..I admire your watch selection process.. I, on the other hand, suffer from "flipper-itis" where I don't appreciate the selectino process and often find myself making mistakes (and paying dearly for them) Congrats!

One of the greatest descriptions I've read of the often tiny things that keep fanatics like ourselves from buying certain pieces. For pete's sake, I was talking with someone the other day who was put off by the tiny "2" in the Habring logo! These choices ... 

Thanks for your kind comments. On the bracelet, I think you have the correct assessment: better than it was, but not in the same league as GO, Blancpain etc. The current issue of Watch Time has as the cover story a comparison between the 9300 and the regu... 

As with everything in this world (at least in my experience) there are tradeoffs to be made! Once in a while we indulge here in a "design your perfect watch" thread -- where the GO bracelet could meet the handsome utility and movement innovation of the Om...

I enjoyed the read immensely. Your description of the redundancy of the 3 dates view window on the IWC perfectly sums up my own thoughts on that design. So unnecessary. I think you made a great choice. Regards, Zac
