The Platinum case shines beautifully. The frosted finish on the dial works well to provide enough contrast yet lets you see the details beyond. I really like the dial layout where you can actually read and grasp all of the calendar information presented. Too many watches are crowded and the details look too cluttered together. I think they spaced everything out well with the correct font and spacing (kerning for us font nerds). All of this on top of a case that is the same thickness as the existing Portugueser perpetual calendars is amazing. That is not even getting into the rarified club of those producing an eternal calendar like this. I believe you would be beyond happy with it - but you do need to “test drive it” first to be certain. Curious what you think when you see it in person, but hard to be disappointed by this one.
