IWC

Inspired by posts about the new Inge, I had to fetch it from the safe. That edgy styling and integrated bracelet has a nice understated look. Nothing that is noticed by non-WIS people. It might be mistaken for another Tissot-PRX-like 80s watch. But if you...  

I have always liked these earlier versions of the IWC Ingenieur as all of the design elements just come together to make a great simple and clean and great looking watch IMHO. This one deserves to be freed from the confines of your safe much more often as... 

So I am frequently exposed to magnetic fields of up to 3 Tesla. Thank goodness I have never forgotten taking off my watches before entering the MRI-room. Otherwise I woud have killed them. And up to now, i didn’t dare to wear the IWC.

Looks relatively thin. Definitely a winner here.

As much as I liked the 3227 on paper, it looked ridiculous on my wrist when I tried it on several years ago.

Such a great looking watch. I love it. Maybe some day. What holds me back is the idea of overpaying for a watch with a rather prosaic movement. I’m referring to the current Ingenieur.

It has a JLC 889 movement with a platinum rotor.

I’m trying to imagine why there is no particular alignment of the drill holes to the numbers on the dial.
