IWC

Why does Richemont not invest in manufacturing factories?

Well, the answer is easy, choosing an ambassador is quicker than develop a caliber.
But i will always complain, because although i like the Portoguese, when you try the chrono pushers it's like using a shift with no clutch.
For me, a watch is a balance between mechanics and design, that's why the only IWC i'm looking at has stopped his productions around 2000.
Even the new Ingenieur with integrated steel bracelet suffers from the same illness; the did not use any "better" caliber because they believe no customer takes care of what's inside.
I have no prejudice, as written above, likely a Sellita is even better finished than the former ETA.
But i'm still not happy of the company directions, they cry crocodile tears.
