one of those that I discovered when my watch enthusiasm started ... And while I prefer round shaped watches, this one is beautiful. Just out of interest ì just checked them on chrono24 .... Many of them for sale at 7-8 K .... thats for free for a perpetua... 

And yes the prices are insane for such a pc: it’s the advantage of looking where others don’t!

I see the date at 6, but what is the indicator betewwn 10 & 11?

Most IWC PCs have 4 digits for the year, but I presume that the overall compactness of the watch caused them to forego the first 2 digits

I wish some of this appetite for adventure would come back to IWC.

Good enough as it is for me. I even think I might like it a little better like this: less regular or monotonous.

Here is mine! This one is a model 3545, which was the first of 2 versions (the one in quattro _spirit's photos is a 3546). Other than some different dial color options that changed with time on market, they only differ by movement; the 3545 has a circular...  

Your Novecento (and the photo) is superb (IWC has done a great job, obviously)! And I like your story very much. Regarding the movement, I knew it was a JLC for the 3546 and a Piguet for the 3545. I even read online that the Piguet wasn't very accurate, t... 

It was quite some time ago, but IWC had a message board that I joined and the moderator gave that reason. I haven't had problems with time keeping, but I keep it running on a winder because it is tedious to reset the calendar if you put it away for severa...
