Amanico faces a dilemma: replace his LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm dial with NOS or preserve its original patina? Collectors weigh in on vintage watch originality.
I've seen on the DSA! It's a good choice and I'm sure there are many combos that will work with this watch. Looking forward to seeing more. Thanks for sharing. : BTW, did you change the strap yourself? Level of difficulty? cheers F
I think that I would prefer a stitch the color of which would be more a long the lines of the lume on the dial of the DSA. Otherwise, it looks great. Best regards, George
.. of the 'bad boy image', letting it appear somewhat more rugged. Really good choice , like it ! -- Still, IMO the original black strap is less disturbing for me on the DSA, as she is lighter than the Polaris ( with the same strap). Convinced we will see...
I still prefer the tropic-patterned leather strap that comes standard with the DSA, but it's nice to see it riding on a tougher piece of hide. So, does this mean that JLC finally sent you a spare spring bar to replace the bent one? Regards, Adam
GTG strap so I didn't have a choice in colors. With that said, the strap is bold and a nice contrast with the dial (imho). Given that our friend reads the forum, I choose not to say anything about the spring bar, other than I'd be dead waiting. =P
