I stopped by the JLC Beverly Hills Boutique last week was lucky enough to see the new limited edition Extreme Lab 2 Chronograph which finally hit the retail channel. They had the 200 piece limited edition rose gold version, and I immediately fell in love ...  

At the contrary of you, I much prefer the technical and colder look of the Titanium version. I love the filiation with the E.L 1 which is one of my modern dream watch, from JLC, even if the II is simpler, technically speaking. It is also muuuuch more affo... 

Love that piece, surprised there are still a few avaialble. Have you spotted any others available at the AD?

The ti version is really outrageous and classic at the same time--being ti it makes sense in this model. The RG is no doubt stunning as all h%ll, but rg makes no sense in this model. I'm excited to see JLC adapting some design elements of these watches to...

Would love to learn where you found the Ti version of the Extreme Lab 2 with the "Compressor" and "Extreme Lab" language on the bezel. The local boutique tells me that bezel is not available on the TI version. So, any leads would be appreciated. Philahora... 

an exhibition model which I saw at the HK boutique when it was first introduced. Subsequent production pieces don't come with the writing on the bezel I think. cheers fernando

Any idea if they dropped the 781 calibre and the anti magnetic escapement ?

Yep, no 781 as per an email my AD read to me but they did state the calibre has been improved ... Ordered it in titanium ... Should have it by July ... It's gonna be my hublot unico all black, Rolex Dayton and Gmt master 2 all rolled into 1 ( and then som... 

I didn't hear thre were some improvements from the proto, though. If your AD has more precise informations, I would be glad to read them. Anyway, the EL II is a very interesting watch, and it will certainly bring you a lot of pleasure. I must say that aft...
