Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Extreme LAB 2 chronograph is smoking hot!

I stopped by the JLC Beverly Hills Boutique last week was lucky enough to see the new limited edition Extreme Lab 2 Chronograph which finally hit the retail channel. They had the 200 piece limited edition rose gold version, and I immediately fell in love with it!

I've never owned a JLC before but this one would definitely be my 1st if I had the available funds to buy it now.

It fits perfectly on my wrist and feels like a million bucks

The strap bends downward for a comfy fit, even with a unbroken-in strap. And btw, the strap is a 2-layer strap - the top is black croc while the bottom is a brown croc. Interesting strap construction ain't it? Works perfectly IMO.

No lug overhang on my 6.75" wrist. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions but the case feels like a 46mm or 47mm watch.

And a very cool feature of this watch is the buckle. Apparently you can adjust the buckle for a better fit during summer and winter months when your wrist expands and contracts. Very cool!

The titanium version comes in 300 pieces I believe but it wasn't available at the Boutique. I'd love to try the titanium one on the wrist as well but I already know the rose gold version would be my choice. It's a bold piece but I like how the "bling" of the rose gold is subdued by the black ceramic and titanium parts so it's not as a bold like a rose gold Hublot Big Bang or rose gold AP Offshore.

an exhibition model which I saw at the HK boutique when it was first introduced. Subsequent production pieces don't come with the writing on the bezel I think. cheers fernando
