Art Deco in action
Went to see a nice, small Art Deco exhibition at the Øregaard Museum, North of Copenhagen today.
It is about the Danish reaction to Art Deco back in the late 1920s. Beautiful art, ceramics, glassware, silverware - and a few heirlooms from my wife’s family.
The only correct thing to wear was of course my Reverso Tribute to 1931. This had the added benefit of introducing the engraved Chrysler Building ti the mix. For me the ultimate Art Deco statement where I worked for three years on the 45th floor.
A nice exhibit in a beautiful old villa.
