Blast from the past.. A glimpse into the watchbox of Funky Memovoxes..

As several of you might remember, one of the themes of my watch collecting has been the
group of Funky Memovox watches, mainly from the 70ies.
Thus, I have been thinking to share a view among some members of the MMV family,
which have accumulated over the years:
These are pieces from JLC/LeCoultre, a group of alarm watches which are still a big pleasure, when looking
or better wearing them.
- So I just would like to share a glimpse into this family of tic-tacs, which in a way are
almost unique ( well not quite, of course) and characteristic for JLC/LC.
Top (cross lies): LC 3072, E872; Bottom (cross) E871
Middle (from left): E855 black & E 855 white („Ebene“), E875s: blue/blue, white/blue & white/white („Speedbeat“)
Far right: E 861

Favorite ?.. Well, they all are close to my heart but the black & white E855 („Ebony“, because of the center brown/ wood indices within the metal ones), the E872 and likely the blue/blue E875 (Speedbeat) are dear pieces, most with a little special story, ...
What a wonderful funky collection
Love them… My fav are the 3072, E871 & 872…. The blue E 875 is also a very desirable watch A Polaris II and/or a snowdrop could be an interesting way to go ;-)

And yes, a Polaris II ( which I let slip by) and also especially the E877 Snowdrop are still on my bucket list; but for the E877 (almost 10yrs ago) I missed a very nice black one, and none ever materialized again. - So I still am a bit on the hunting grou...
The E877 Snowdrop is a really cool watch.... with a special waterproof case
