Does size matter now?
In a UK national newspaper today there is a long article about sexism in watches raised by an AD. Instead of men's watches and ladies watches, they should only be referred to by the case sizes. The article pointed out that several female "celebrities" wear 40mm+ watches and "even" a male one wears 27mm. In future the AD will only offer watches for sale as small, medium and large sizes. To do otherwise is sexist and discriminatory. That will make browsing for watches more difficult!
Are we now going to see a return to the more manageable watch sizes of the 1950's to 1980's? I hope so. After all, the skill of watchmaking is in the squeezing of complications into small spaces. "Anybody" could put a complicated movement into 45mm x 15mm case but not so into a 33mm x 9mm case.

And I totally agree but in the same topic JLC is actually marketing the medium Reverso (which ironically is even a bit bigger than the Classique) as a ladies watch.
