The only JLC I own, which just happens to be perfectly suited for the task, IMO:

(Ordinarily it rides on articulated rubber, but I decided to switch to the diving strap for a change -- I love it)

PS - By the end of the month, a Swiss "Incursion" will be taking place in my watch box, which should make for an excellent summer JLC, indeed
Your ideal JLC Summer Watch?
By: amanico : June 3rd, 2010-04:30
Now that Summer is strongly knoking at our door, I'm curious to know which JLC you will wear and bring with you during this season and your holidays. Will you let your dressy watches in the safe, and favorize watches which will follow you in your water or...

that JLC removed the writings on the bezel for the final version. I look forward to seeing teh final version in the metal at some point. That might be one worth considering. I cannot get a good enough sense of this one just from the photos I have seen. re...

You are absolutely right.... I saw it, but did not notice that the writing was gone... Thank you for reminding me my friend... Still though, it is quite big for my wrist (not to mention expensive...) Thank you... Cheers

Call it " Tribute to Géophysic "... Some here ( me included ) were dreaming of a strict re edition of this Cult watch, and were deceived to see that it wasn't the case. I much prefer " Extrem Lab II " which better sticks to this watch, IMO. As for its pri...

Ni Nicolas, Last year it was my Polaris 68. I kept it for everything, including swimming everyday for at least a month (and excluding only showering). I will have it this summer but with a more selective use (I won't swim with it). I don't have another JL...

What are you afraid of? The Plexy? You have a spare one, and I'm sure JLC will cange your plexy if deeply scratched... Hey, don't tell JLC that I told you that, Eeeeh? The water resistance? Well, for swimming with your watch, I think that 200 meters is en...

A logical solution, Jerome. I don't know when JLC will release the new Navy SEALs, I hope before this summer, to see some of us testing it in real. As I'm working a bit on the Vintage Diving thema, these days, I was thinking about the modern offer, and sp...

it's the Compressor Diving Chrono on articulated rubber. The adjustable clasp makes it perfect for loosening enough to not get rubber-rash, and the features are, of course, ideal for any water activity. Living in the Caribbean, it will (God willing) be my...

There are some JLC which " fall " in this category: Polaris, Navy SEALs Alarm, MC Diving GMT, Pro Géo, MC Memo...Without forgetting the Amvox I ( or II, or III... ) The Amvox I is a superb Summer Choice. Of course, you won't be able to swim with it, ...

What an elegant way to spend the summer days! A MM Deep Sea would be an excellent choice, without forgetting, actually, that it is not water resistant anymore. But do we always spend our time on the beaches? Best, my friend. Nicolas

because up to now I only own one vintage Memo. That on a leather strap is not the perfect summer watch. The job will be shared between the Speedy (on bracelet or its rubber coated strap), the G.O. Sport Evo and - when things get rough - my old Fortis Spac...

I partially agree, as indeed, the Diving JLCs will do the job in a perfect way... As well as your other watches. When I partially disagree is when you say that your Memo is not the good watch for summer. I willl elaborate all this in my answer .... Best, ...
