It's great to see these days so many posts of new owners of their own Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute to Deep Sea. You rarely see so much pleasure freely and frankly expressed. You may to some extent wonder why? The delivery of the Tribute to Polaris watches was...
Indeed, being one of those, with some posts. pics & a lot of nice experiences- having picked it up quite early (see Nico's post about their arrival, BTW..) <\p> - I could not agree more, to all you said - Congrats to you, the development team and JLC for ...
.. if you kindly allow - I would humbly maintain: still Tribute to the dev Team and of course to LGM !! Again, enjoyed your pics & the stimulating post ! Summerly best, hs PS: - glad you also enjoyed my humble '2-cent pics'
Thank you for sharing the great pics and thoughts! Since I've seen recently in the Boutique a prototype of it, I'm also haunted by this beauty... Despite that I'm not a diver nor a genuine vintage fan! The watch just felt 'right'. But the dices have falle...
If I had seen the Tribute to Deep Sea first, then I might have gone down the road to the beach... But for now, my eyes are screening the night sky for the moon... I'll pick up my Duometre coming Monday, Swiss National Day! Not many better dates to buy a J...
Nice one, and nice strap, too. I am still comfortable enough with the original strap (convenient with lots of holes for small wrists), but may think of replacing someday. I wonder what made you decide to change it upon purchase.... Or anybodfy's take on t...

The Cal 956 housed in the TT DSA is the same than the one you will find in the TT Polaris and the 2010 Master Memovox. The only difference being the date ( which has been removed in the TT DSA ) and the alarm sound. Why? Easy. On the TT DSA, the JLC team ...
Thanks Nicolas, is the original sound then also tuned for improved propagation under water? None of my Memovoxe's ring like the DSA, and some are from the same period. I am sure that I read some JMC publications talking about this difference between the w...
What you read is that the 16 holes in the Polaris case back were made to insure a better propagatiion of the sound, underwater. Which still has to be scientifically demonstrated. But this has nothing to see with the Deep Sea Alarm, Tribute or not. The Tri...
