Great watch heralded my favourite Reverso size

Fab watch - as you say it heralded what I think is the greatest size (as in the best) case for a Reverso. Big enough to be contemporary and allow for interesting complications yet small enough to remain elegant.

I hadn't realised that the movement was gold too - definitely something to add to its appeal. I have seen one for sale and unfortunately its just that bit too rich for me.

What really is key though - is that it was the start of a whole series of complications not only the 60ème series, but also calendars - the first sun moon (??? not sure about this one) and the Duo.

All I would wish for is that the current calendar Reverso - which is great be available in a GT case.

And finally seeing the last photo - I can fully understand why your friend didn't want to take it off his wrist.

and the gold movement was a first. The dimensions of the case are exactly 30% bigger, IIRC, than the Classique. It was as if JLC took a CAD program and dragged the corner of the screen to enlarge the X Y and Z axes. -Dean
